Phlebotomy Technician

The Phlebotomy Technician course provides the students with the knowledge and practice of collecting and preparing blood for tests.

Length: 200 Hours
Includes 1 week clinicals

The Course includes the following topics:

  • Medical Terminology
  • Blood Circulation
  • Blood Collection Techniques
  • Special Collection Techniques
  • Preparation of Blood Smears
  • Drawing Blood for Lab Test
  • Laboratory Skills
  • CPR
  • Vital Signs
  • Resume
  • Interview Preparation

    8:30 am to 2:00 pm

    *Tuition: $2,150 (Includes registration fee, books and supplies.)

    Phlebotomy Technician Students wear burgundy scrubs, white tennis shoes (no sandals or clogs), white lab jacket and must provide proof of first Hepatitis B series vaccination and TB skin test before clinicals.
